so yay, it's a blog. A few people have told me in the past that I should have one, so hey, why not?
Not so fast. I'm not creative or artistic or anything like that, so whatever template looks best is generally my choice. So it will probably look like I'm making no effort. hmmm.
And of course, the only way to build a readerbase is to shamelessly self-promote. That doesn't come particularly naturally to me.
Also, honesty on the internet without anonymity seems a bit difficult to me. But we'll see.
So the plan is this. I set up a blog and shamelessly promote the first post. Like a pilot for a tv show or something. If the reaction's sufficiently good, a blog is born. Posts will made, design cleaned up. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be indifferent. And if the market's not there, hey, life goes on.
Now, I'm not particularly opinionated or devoted to a cause or anything like that, so it would just be a stream-of-consciousness word dump for all to see. Hockey and TV and music and life. and probably skiing. Probably quite a bit of complaining too, to be fair. No professional advice, no political diatribes, no recipes (except for disaster! i kid). So basically just like other interaction with me. I don't want to be one of those "you'll have to read my blog about that" people (no offense to those who have told me that, btw) so the blog probably won't get any exclusive content from my world.
